The heart of the site is a Davis Vantage Pro weather station. Now this is not your father's rain gauge or your mother's garden thermometer, this is serious scientific instrumentation. However, we refuse to accept responsibility for any ill-conceived or otherwise-conceived decisions made based upon the data presented herein. And, to point out the obvious, the conditions reported are those experienced at the station; if you decide to go for a sail in Suttons Bay because the station says it's blowing like a mother over here...and you wind up paddling...enough said.
